🗺️ The Four-Year Curriculum
Our courses blend history, science, and practical skills to prepare you for life after high school.
Year 1: Foundations of the Navy
Start your journey with an introduction to naval history and the global influence of sea power. You’ll dive into oceanography, master the basics of first aid, and begin developing fundamental seamanship and navigation skills.
Year 2: Technical Mastery
Build on your foundations by exploring ship construction and damage control. You will dive deeper into naval weaponry and early 19th-century history while stepping up your leadership responsibilities within the unit.
Year 3: The Science of the Sea
Broaden your horizons with advanced subjects including astronomy, meteorology, and international law. Your navigation training will advance to professional-level techniques like dead reckoning, piloting, and electronic navigation.
Year 4: Leadership & Management Capstone
As a senior cadet, the focus is entirely on preparing you for the "real world." You will study the military chain of command, organizational techniques, and military justice. In this year, you take the helm—assuming major leadership roles and refining the communication skills necessary for college and career success.
