Requirements for Students Without Readiness Seals
If a student does not earn a readiness seal, they must complete the following three requirements to graduate:
- Complete a Graduation Pathway.
- Demonstrate Employability Skills.
- Demonstrate Post-Secondary Readiness.
Honors Seals
The new diploma has basic requirements for all students and offers optional readiness seals based on their personal goals. To earn an Honors Seal Diploma, students must complete the Indiana New Diploma and earn a seal. The seals give students flexibility to shape their high school experience and adjust their plans if their interests change. Students who do not earn a seal must still complete components 2 and 3 of Graduation Pathways.
